Pulau Redang

Pulau Redang Island on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, is located approximately 45km off the coast of Kuala Terengganu.

Long Beach and Teluk Dalam Kecil are beautiful white sandy beaches. The waters are clear enough that you can see beautiful corals and tropical fish just a few meters off the shore.

Sun-seekers may take a leisurely stroll along the white sandy beaches and enjoy sunbathing in the warm sunshine. Drivers are sure to enjoy the rich diversify of marine life. Receational activities include snorkelling, scuba diving, sailing, fishing and an array of beach games.

The monsoon season in Malaysia’s East Coast falls between October and December. Avoid it by going during the months of February to September.

You can either fly to Kuala Terengganu or travel b express bus to Kuala Terengganu, Merang or Kuala Besut. There are speed boat services from these towns to Pulau Redang.

Stadium Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin is the main stadium at Gong Badak Sports Complex in Kuala Terengganu.
The stadium is officially named after and launch by Seri Paduka Baginda Yang Di-pertuan Agong, Al-Wathiqu Billah Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin Ibni Almarhum Sultan Mahmud Al-Muktafi Billah Shah.

The Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium with a capacity of 49,000. It is the biggest stadium in the East Coast of Malaysia. The stadium was opened in 2008 and built to host the 2008 SUKMA XII Games.
